My Extension work translates agricultural economics, farm financial analysis, and agronomic knowledge into practical tools for producers, advisers, and conservation professionals.
Working with the Grassland 2.0 Initiative and the University of Wisconsin–Madison Center for Integrated Agricultural Systems, I co-developed two producer-focused tools that help livestock farmers evaluate the financial and management implications of pasture-based production.
A farm-level decision-support tool that helps dairy producers compare the costs, labor requirements, land needs, and financial implications of raising replacement heifers on pasture rather than in confinement.
